The petitioner was present and no one spoke for or against the petition. The committee discussed access to the site and expanding I-1 zoning across Rice Street. At the close of the public hearing, the committee voted 3 to 2 to approve the rezoning. On October 11, 1985, the Planning Commission upheld the committies recommendation on a vote of 15 to 2.
