WHEREAS, The Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the City Charter, does certify that
there are available for appropriation revenues in excess of those estimated in the 1985
budget; and
WHEREAS, Council File 277510 adopted October l, 1981, did establish certain Special

WHAT WILL BE ACHIEVED BY TAKING AC ION ON THE ATTACHED MATERIALS? (Purpose/
Rationale) :
The budget will be amended to r flect the total CDBG World Trade Center expenditures
of $5,50�,000 and the revenue r sulting from the World Trade Center parcel land sale
of $1,000,000. The budget prev ously reflected a net expenditure of $4,500,000 with
no land sale revenues. This bu get amendment reflects a transaction already incurred,
does not affect the total dolla s put into the project, and changes the budget to agree
with the proper accounting entr es.
