WHEREAS, The Lexington Restaurant is observing its Fiftieth
Anniversary of operation at 1096 Grand Avenue, and
WHEREAS, The �exington has been the setting for many memorable
occasions and momentous decisions -- from proposals to anniversaries,
from family and birthday parties, to political "throwing in the
hat" ceremonies, and
WHEREAS, The 'Lexington is not just a restaurant, but a place
that has come to symbolize the sharing of hopes and dreams
and laughter and tears for many of St. Paul 's citizens, now
therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the St. Paul City Council does offer its hearty
congratulations on the occasion of this anniversary, and does
wish The Lexington a future as enduring as its past.
