00-1002Q�IGI�'��L Presented By Referred To RESOLUTION Green Sheet # ( p !. 114 Committee: Date 2 4 5 6 7 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code § 376.17(c) requires new applicants for a taxicab driver's license to successfully complete a taxicab driver training course as a prerequisite for licensure; and WHEREAS, § 37617(d) permits an applicant to obtain a provisional operator license which authorizes the driver to operate until the first available opening in a training class, at which tnne the applicant must enroll in and successfully compiete the class; and WHEREAS, Donald Waltz was issued a provisional operator license by the Office of LIEP and was notified of the taYicab driver training course to begin on August 7, 2000, but failed to attend and successfully complete the course; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the provisional operator license (license ID# 20000002343) issued to Donald Waltz is hereby revoked for failure to enroll in and successfully complete the required taaticab driver training course.
