WHEREAS, the city of Saint Paul has applied for and received a grant from the
Northwest Area Foundation n the amount of $20,000; and
WHEREAS, the N rthwest Are Foundation has approved this grant for the purposes of
promoting the evelopment f the media arts in Saint Paul through the production
of a media art series ; and
WHEREAS, subje t to the ex cution of this grant agreement there will exist revenues
in excess of t ose estimat d in the 1985 budget which the Mayor, pursuant to
Section 10,07, of the Cha ter of the City of Saint Paul does certify are available for
appropriation ; and
WHEREAS, Counc 1 File 277510, adopted October 1 , 1981 established certain Special
Fund Policies, and,
WHEREAS, the M yor recomme ds that the following additions be made to the 1985 budget
subject to the execution o the grant agreement between the city and the Northwest
Area Foundatio :

BE IT FURTHER �2ESOLVED, th t the City Council adopts the above additions ta the
