1 WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota has appropriated S60,000, for the period from July 1,1999 through June
2 30, 2001, to the City of Saint Paul for a Victim Services Program for family survivors of homicide victims, and

4 WHEREAS� the Saint Paul Police DepartmenYs Victim Intervenfion Project is a program for family survivors
5 of homicide victims, and

7 WHEREAS, the police depar[ment desires to establish a spending and financing plan for the fundiug to be used
8 in 1999,and

10 WfiEREA5, The Mayor pursuant to Section �0.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that
11 there are available for appropriation Funds of $15,000 in excess of those estimated in the 1999 budget; and

13 WHEREAS, The Mayor recommends that the following addition be made to the 1999 budget:
