On May 7, 1985, the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul adopted Resolution No. 2454 giving preliminary approval to the issuance of industrial development revenue bonds in an initial principal amount of $885,000 to finance the construction of a 10,400 square foot office building to be located in Riverview Industrial Park. 2. The St. Paul City Council, by Resolution No. 85-677 adopted on May 21, 1985, approved the action taken by the Port Authority on May 7, 1985. 3. At the time of the adoption of Port Authority Resolution No. 2454, the final location for the new building had not been chosen, and the Port Authority was required to schedule a new public hearing for the pro3ect, which hearing was held on June 18, 1985. 4. Although the City Council of the City of Saint Paul has given its requisite consent to the issuance of the Bonds, pursuant to Council Resolution No. 85-677, the Port Authority has asked the City Council to further approve this pro�ect to be located on the Northeast corner of State Street and Plato Boulevard in Riverview Industrial Park, subject to the final approval of the details of the issuance of the Bonds by the Port Authority of the City of Saint Paul. RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul that the City Council hereby ratifies and affirms its consent to the issuance of the Bonds to finance the project for the purposes described in the Port Authority Resolutions No. 2454 and 2488. Ft. site on South Wabasha Avenue in Riverview Industrial Area West, St. Paul, Minnesota for Robert G. Flynn Sublease to New England Mututal Life Insurance Company. The project would be finaaced by an industrial development revenue bond issue in the amount of $885,000 which would be underwritten by Miller & Schroeder Municipals, Inc. The lease would be for a term of 30 years. The Company presently employs 24 people and the new facility will permit them to increase employment to 50 in the near future.
