RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to :
1 . Kathy Dalsen the sum of $77. 90 in full settlement of her claim
of damages sustained on or about March 16 , 1985 , as more par-
ticularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the City
Clerk ' s office on May 10, 1985.
2. Gina Carey the sum of $508. 70 in full settlement of her claim
of damages sustained on or about March 6 , 1985 , as more par-
ticularly set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the City
Clerk ' s office on April 5 , 1985.

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY KATHY DALSEN AND GINA CAREY
On March 16 , 1985 , claimant Kathy Dalsen ' s vehicle was recovered
by the Saint Paul Police Department. At the department ' s sugges-
tion the vehicle was towed and impounded for processing for a
possible theft charge. Ms. Dalsen paid $77. 90 for the impound
and storage fees which should have been waived by the Saint Paul
Police Department. This office approves the settlement of Ms.
Dalsen ' s claim in the amount of $77. 90.
Claimant, Gina Carey, was involved in an automobile accident with
a City of Saint Paul , Department of Public Works vehicle on March 6 ,
1985 at the corner of Sims and Kennard. The driver of the City
vehicle was Richard Fleischaker. Expenses are for the repair of
the damaged vehicle. This office approves the settlement of Ms.
Carey' s claim in the amount of $508. 70.
