WHEREAS, The Commissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota
has prepared: plans, special provisions, and specifications for the
improvement of Trunk Highway No. 392, renumbered as Trunk Highway No.
94, within the corporate limits of the City of Saint Paul, located at John
Ireland Boulevard; and seeks the approval thereof;
NOW, THEN, BE IT RESOLVED, That said plans and special provisions for the
improvement of said Trunk Highway within said corporate limits of the
City, be and hereby are approved including the eievations and grades as
shown and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade
occasioned by said construction.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, That the City does hereby agree to require the
parking of all vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate
limits of said City, on said Trunk Highway, to be parallei with the curb
adjacent to the highway, and at least 20 feet from any crosswaiks on ail
public streets intersecting said trunk highway.

Rationale) :
This contract is part of an over�ll Capitol imProvement pro)ect fo�mulated �n can,junctton �vith the
Capitol Area Architectural Planning Board. The project on John freland Boulevard will shift both
roadways of the boulevard two feet toward the median, provide a grass covered median between each
pair of bridges, provide new, wider outside sidewaiks with ornamental raitings, and reconstruction
of the bridge expanslon devices across the entire roadway.
