Pau Professional Employees Aseociation, Inc. In f 11 settlement o negot ations, the parties hereto have agreed as follo s: 1. Except a herei modifed, the 1984-1985 Agreement between the p rties shall be the ba is of the forth comiag labor agreement. 2. The foll wing s 11 be effective upon the execution of this Mem randum: A. Arti le 2.2 of said Agreement dealing with Severance Pay s all be r placed ith Article 2.21 which is attached hereto and ade a part ereof. _ B. Effective Januar , 1986, thi amoun shall be increased to fifty cents ($0.50) per onth. ARTICLE I - SEV RANCE PAY 2.21 The em loyee must be 58 years of age or older or must be eligib e for pension under the "rule of 85" or the " le of 90" pr visions of the Public Employees Retirement Ass ciation (PERA) The "rule of 85" and the "rule of 90" criter a shall also a ply to employees covered by a public pension p an other than P RA. , - � �� yo i ARTICLE XIV - I SURANC 14.1 The EMPLOY R will ontinue for the period of this AGREEMENT to pr vide for EMPLOY S such health and life insurance benefits as are prov ded by EMPLOYER at the ti e of execution of this AGREEMENT. 14.2 The EMPLOYE will or the period of this AGREEMENT provide for LOYEES who retire fter t e time of execution of this AGREEMENT, and unt 1 such EMPLOYEES r ach si ty-five (65) years of age, such health insuranc benefits as are prov ded by the IIKPLOYER for such EMPLOYEES and such life i surance benefits as provid d in this article. 14.3 Effective J nuary , 1985, for each employee who retires during th term of this AGRE NT and s eligible for early retiree benefits under th terms set forth i this a ticle and who selects employee insurance cover ge, the EMPLOYER ag es to ontribute the cost of such coverage or �87.06 er month, whichever is less. In addition, for each eligible early retiree w o selects dependent's nsuran e coverage, the EMPLOYER will contribute the c st of such depende t's co erage or �203.86 per month, whichever is less. Effective January, 198 , the ollar caps specified in this Article 14.3 shall be ad�usted to qual t e January, 1986 premium cost for the health ins rance plan offered to t e City by Blue Cross-Blue Shield for early retirees. In order to e elig ble for City benefits under the early retiree p ovision, the Employee must: 14.31 Be rec iving b nefits from a public employee retirement act a the time o retire ent. 14.32 Have s ered h s/her relationship with the City of .St. Paul u der one of the arly r tiree plans. � , � - � ���ai ARTICLE XIV - I SURANC (con�.) 14.4 For each e igible employee covered by this AGREEMENT selecting a ealth insurance rogram upplied to the City, the City shall pay the en ire cost of such co erage, r $70.00 per month whichever is less. For eac employee selecting ily c verage, the City shall pay the entire cost of uch family coverage o $180.0 per month, whichever is less. 14.5 Not withsta ding A ticle 14.4 for each eligible employee covered y this AGREEMENT s lectin the health insurance program supplied to the ity by HMO-Minneso a, the City shall pay the entire cost of such coverag , or $70.00 per onth, hichever is less. In addition, for each emplo ee selecting dependent's covera e under the program offered to th� City by HMO innesota the City sh 11 pay the entire cost of such dependent's coverage o �128.59 per month, hichev r is less. This Article, 14.5, applies only t employees who were co ered a of November 1, 1984 by the health insurance pr gram supplied to the City by HMO Minnesota and shall continue to apply only as 1 ng as such employee re ains c ntinuously covered by such program. 14.6 Not withsta ding A ticle 14.4, for each eligible employee covered y this AGREEMENT s lectin the health insurance program supplied to the C ty by Physicians ealth an, the City shall pay the entire cost-of such coverage, or $78.98 p r mont , whichever is less. In addition, for each emp oyee selecting d pendent's coverage under the program offered to the Ci y by Physicians ealth P an, the City shall pay the entire cost of such dependent's coverage or 151.81 per month, whichever is less. For the purpose of this se tion, the employee's nnual alary shall be based on the salary as of Janua y 5, 1985.
