BY THOMAS GERNES ND FA MERS

On July 25 , 198 , a ity of Saint Paul , Department of Pu lic
Works , vehicle d iven y our employee , Karl Braun, rear end d a
vehicle owned by Thoma Gernes . The Gernes vehicle was sto ped
in traffic and i the process of making a left hand turn rom
Fariview tollSumm ' t. M . Braun could not stop in time and st uck
the Gernes car , hich was damaged in the amoutn of $2 , 683 . 00.
Mr. Gernes ' was reimb rsed by his insurance company, Far ers
Insurance Group, for th damages less his deductible . Mr. Ge nes
also incurred ca rent 1 expenses in the amount of $230.02 w ile
his vehicle was ing r paired, Our office approves the settl ment
in the amount of 2 , 913 .02 .
