RESOLVED, tha the S lary Plan and Rates of Compensation Resolution, be
amended in Section I (one) SALARIES PAYABLE, Subsection J, BUILDING INSPE TOR
SALARY RATES, to r ad as ollows:
"J BUILDING INSPEC OR SALARY RATES--The salary for the position of
Plastere Inspe tor, Building Inspector, and Masonry Inspector, shall
be in th ee ste s. The first shall be the entry level step. T e
second s ep sha 1 be paid to those who successfully perform for at
least on year t the entry level and successfully complete 9 c edits
in Build ng Ins ection Technology as provided at an accredited
cqmmunit colle e or vocational school er-��e-�kese and who ha been
c�rtifie as a lass I Building Official by the State of Minnes ta.
Tl�e thir step hall be paid to those who successfully perform or at
l�ast tw years at the secondary level, successfully complete
c edits n Buil ing Inspection Technology as provided at an ac edited
c�mmunit colle e or vocational school and attain Class II Bui ing
Official Certif cation. All entrants, including those who are City
employee worki g in their respective trades, shall start at t e entry
rate unl ss he/ he meets the certification requirements for th second
step."
