WHEREAS, Am s Mart' has served the Sainr Paul community as presi ent -
of the Saint Pau Area hamber of Commerce since 1967; and
WHEREAS, du ing hi 19 years of service, Amos Martin played an im ortant
role in guiding he co unity toward and through redevelopment efforts and
WHEREAS, Am s Mart' during those 19 years has served Saint Paul s an
ambassador of co genial'ty, optimism and good will; and
WHEREAS, Am s Mart' will retire from his post with the Saint Pau Area
Chamber of Comme ce in ebruary of 1987, we do hereby take this opport nity
to recognize his contri tion to the city of Saint Paul; and be it
RESOLVED, t at the Saint Paul City Council acknowledges gratefull the
efforts and achi vement of Amos Martin during his 19 years of service as
president of the Saint aul Area Chamber of Commerce; and, be it furth r
RESOL'VED, t at the Saint Paul City Council does extend on behalf f the
