purpose of es abli hing he level of Excess Operating Cost of S ecial
Lighting in he Gr nd-D le/Victoria Lighting System of Saint Paul,
which is to b levied against benefitted properties; and
WHEREAS, purs ant t Chapter 62 of the Administrative Code, the
Department of Publ 'c Wor s submitted to the Department of Finan e and
Management Service a re ort showing the estimated total exces cost
of Special L ghti g in he Grand-Dale/Victoria Lighting Syst m is
$2,180 . 93 for the m nths f September through December , 1986; an
WHEREAS, The C ' ty Co ncil of Saint Paul at said Public Hear ' ng on
February 6 , 1�86, h ard 1 interested parties and approved a plan by
which the cost of he ab ve Standard Street Lighting System for the
Grand-Dale/V ctor ' a Are Operation would be assessed agains the
benefitted pr�perti s; an
NOW, THEREFOR BE T RESOLVED, That the City Council of aint
Paul does hereby a opt nd levy these excess lighting costs f r the
months of Sep embe thro gh December , 1986 , as a Special Asses ment
against the bene itte properties at the rate of $. 09628 per
assessable f ot fo resic3ential and multi-residential propert and
$ . 481445 per �ssess ble f ot for commercial property; and
BE IT FU THER ESOLV D, That the City Clerk is hereby direct d to
transmit a c rtified co y of this resolution to the Ramsey C unty
Auditor so t at t e ass ssment for the excess operating cos s of
Special Lighting le ied h rewith shall be extended on the propert tax
list of the cbunty and ollected in 1987 along with current t xes,
said charges o be ayabl in a single installment; and
