WHEREA , It has been deemed advisable and necessary for the City
of Saint Pa 1 to expend Municipal State Aid funds for the improvement
of the traf ic signal at the intersection of T.H. 61 and Burns Avenue,
MSA Project No. 164-216-16 and the installation of a new traffic signal
at the inte section of T.H. 61 and CSAH 36 (Warner Road) , MSA P�oject
No. 164-020 59, both intersections of which are included under City
Project T-1 91, and State Project 6220-53.
NOW, T ER�FORE, Be it resolved, that we do hereby appropriate
from our Mu icipal State Aid Street Funds the sum of $15, 000 to apply
toward the onstruction of said project and request the Commissioner
of Highways to approve this authorization.

as is Burns Ave e st of T.H. 61.

paving, constructing curb and gutter, constructing new
catch basins, new driveways, an ornamental ligtiting
system, an 8-foot median, 4 10-foot bump outs in mid-
biock for ttie school , a bus turnaround at northwest
corner of Snelling and Edgcumbe Road and a turn slot in •
the Edgcumbe Avenue island west of Snelling. Also
, construct a new storm sewer in Snelling from 900 feet
nortri of Edgcumbe Rd. to W. Seventh St./Fort Road
(bounded by Montreal Ave. on the north; W. Seventh
St/Fort Road on the south; on the west by a line
beginning approximately 400 feet west of the centerline
i of Edgcumbe Road and Snelling and running south to Lower
St. Dennis Rd. , then southeast to W.Seventh/Fort Rd. and
on the east by Rankin Street.

6. RESOLUTION: approving a Hold Harmless clause to the State
of Minnesota in connection with the variance granted by
the State for the reconstruction of SNELLING AVENUE from
I West 7th Street to St. Dennis Road.

repairing tf�e sidewalk, brackets, replacing a sidewalk
stringers and constructing new sidewalks. Also replacing

and provide a waterproof surface deck.
