An administrative Resolution amending the Civil
Service Rules concerning overtime conpensation.
RESOLV D, that the Civil Service Rules be amended in the second paragraph
of Section 8. , Overtime Compensation, Subsection 1 , so that said paragraph
be deleted nd a new second paragraph shall read as follows:

2. C pensatory time shall be granted or payment made for overtime
n later than one year from the time when it is earned. No
m e than 150 hours of overtime ma be accumulated in the form
o compensator time. Whenever the time limit or maximum hour
1' it is exceeded, or when a department determines that
c pensatory time cannot be granted, pa ment must be made at the
a horized rate. When overtime is paid this shall be shown on

E h department shall be responsible for keeping a record of
c pensatory time earned and used by each employee for each
p roll period, and of overtime work. All such records shall
b audited at least once a year by the Director of Finance
