WHEREAS, The Citl�y of Saint Paul on behalf of the Water
Utility did purchase on December 4, 1942 certain property near
Larpenteur Avenue and R�ice Street for waterworks purposes, and
WHEREAS, The propeirty acquired is described as Lots 7 and 8 ,
Block 5, Lots 4, 5, 6, i7 and 9 , Block 10 , and (except railroad)
Lot 25 and all of Lot 24 , Block 8, St. Aubin and Dion's Rice
Street Addition, in Sec�tion 18, Township 29 North, Range 22 West,
Ramsey County, and '
WHEREAS , The Cit�'s staff does concur with the Board of
Water Com missioners t�hat a certain parcel of said property
described as follows:
Except railroad, � Lot 25 and all of Lot 24, Block 8
St. Aubin & Dionfs Rice Street Addition
is no longer required fQr the waterworks system, or by any other
City Department; and ha�s determined said property to be surplus,
now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That theliCity of Saint Paul does declare the above
described parcel to t�e surplus and does request that its
Department of Finance �nd Management Services sell this excess
property for the fair m�arket value, as determined by the City's
Valuation Engineer and pursuant to Chapter 51 of the
Administrative Code , and all proceeds from the sale less
Administrative costs beldeposited to the Water Utility Fund.
