RE: 87-P-058261 EIGHTH STREET f1'om St Peter Street ta Waccut Street
This resolution is a hold harmless clause that the Minnesota Departmen of Transportation
requires before they will grant the variance to State standards for th width we want to
build Eighth Street. It holds the State harmless for letting us build a portion of Eighth
Street from Minnesota Street to Jackson Street 64' wide rather than th 7' standard. The
Councii authorized the "Request for Variance" by Resolution C.F. 85-1 00; This is required to
proceed with the project. '
COST/BENEFIT, BUDGETARY AND PERSONNEL IMPACTS ANTICIPATED:
This will have no fiscai impact unless the State gets sued for granti g t►e variance. This
is consideed highly unl ikely. ' RC
