WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Saint Paul by resolution
C.F. 172106 approved March 1, 1955, condemned an ease ent for the
construction and maintenance of a retaining wall th ee feet in �
width and extending from Rellogg Boulevard to fo rteen feet -
northwesterly of the southwesterly corner of Lot 8, B ock 27 City
of St. Paul as measured along the easterly line of Ja kson Street
(the southwesterly corner of said Lot 8 being d scribed as
established by the opening of Jackson Street accordin to Council
File 144951 approved July 27 , 1948) and lying adja ent to and
northeasterly of the following described land:
Beginning at the southwesterly corner of said L t 8 ,
thence northwesterly along the easterly line of the
opened portion of Jackson Street a distance f six
feet to a point; thence, southeasterly in a st aight
line to a point on the northerly line of K llogg
Boulevard that is six feet easterly of said
southwesterly corner of said Lot 8 as measure along
said northerly line of Kellogg Boulevard; thence
southwesterly on said northerly line of Kellogg
Boulevard a distance of six feet to the po ' nt of
beginning.
WHEREAS, this wall easement is an encumbrance to the land
which will be used for the construction of the propo ed new RTCA
building;
WHERBAS, the City has recently vacated land ai ng Jackson
Street which is adjacent to said wall easement a d which in
effect makes the above referenced wall easement un cessary for
public purposes;

easements, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby
waive and release the retained utility easements i the vacated
public property as described above; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that upon passage of th s Resolution
the City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to ile a copy of
this resolution for recording in the office of the Register of
Deeds of Ramsey County , and shall maintain a opy of all
Certificates of Intended Non-Use referenced in this esolution, on
file in the Office of the City Clerk.
