RESOLVED, That upon execution and delivery of a rele se in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and dire ted to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000, to :
1. Larry C. Johnson the sum of $94. 00 in full settlem nt of his
claim of damages sustained on or about November 7, 1985, as
more particularly set out in the Notice of Claim f led in
the City Clerk ' s office on November 21 , 1985.
2 . Therese A. Kelly the sum of $283. 93 in full settle ent of
her claim of damages sustained on or about Novembe 5 , 1985 ,
as more particularly set out in the Notice of Clai filed
in the City Clerk's office on March 12 , 1986.
3. Sheila Gretsch and Continental Insurance Company he sum of
$1 , 017. 74 in full settlement of their claim of da ages sus-
tained on or about December l , 1985 , as more part ' cularly
set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the City lerk' s
office on March 28, 1986 .

M E M O R A N D U M
CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY LARRY C. JOHNSON; THERESEA A. KELLY;
and SHEILA GRETSCH AND CONTINENTAL
INSURANCE COMPANY
On November 7, 1985 , a Cityof Saint Paul sewer pu ping station
malfunctioned and caused sewage to back up into he home of
claimant, Larry C. Johnson, at 1089 Mackubin Str et in Saint
Paul . As a result of the back up the area had to b cleaned and
disinfected at a cost of $94. 00.
Claimant, Therese Kelly, seeks compensation for d mage to her
1977 Ford, license number LRY 926 , which occurred hen she was
rear-ended by a Saint Paul police squad car on Nov mber 5, 1985
at Lexington and University Avenue in Saint Paul, he squad was
being driven by Donald Carlson. The damage to Ms. Kelly' s car
amount to $283. 93.
On December l , 1985 , a City of Saint Paul snowpl w driven by
Martin Tschida backed into a vehicle stopped behind h ' m on Cleveland
near Marshall. This vehicle was owned and driven by claimant,
Sheila Gretsch, and it was damaged in the amount of $1 , 017. 74 of
which her insurance company, Continental Insurance ompany, paid
less her deductible.
