WHEREAS, The Minnesota Department of Transportation s about to let
a contract for the construction of two traffic signals n Trunk Highway
61 at �urns Avenue and at Warner Road; therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the proper City officers be authorize and directed
to execute, on behalf of the City of St. Paul, Agreemen Number 62943
between the City of St. Paul and the Minnesota Departme t of Transportation,
providing an outline of responsibilities for cost, main enance and
operation of the traffic signals that are to be constru ted on Trunk
Highway 61 at Burns Avenue and at [�Iarner Road, a copy o said agreement
being attached hereto and incorporated herein by refere ce.

on Trunk Highway 61. These signals are to be located at th intersections of
Burns & 61; and at Warner Rd. and Highway 61. This agreeme t shall also super-
cede and terminate the terms and conditions for the interse tion of Trunk Highway
61 and Burns (6220-44 (f) ) of Agreement No. 57492, dated Apr 1 16 , 1974.
COST/BENEFIT, BUDGETARY AND PERSONNEL IMPACTS ANTICIPATED:
The construction of the new signals will add approximately 2, 000 per year
to the budget for electrical power used and maintenance. T is construction
will not require any extra personnel
