' � . . . . ���_�� , .. , , _. • 1986 MLMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT This Memorandum of Agreement is by and between Independen School District No. 625 and the Tri-Council; Local 49, Local 120, and Local 132, and supplements the current Iabor agreement. The parties here o have agreed as follows: 1. Except as herein modified, the signed 1984-1986 Coll ctive Bargaining Agreement between the parties shall continue to be n effect without change. 2. Article %III of said Agreement shall be replaced th Article %III which is attached and made a part hereof. When w Year's Day, Independence Day or Christmas Day falls on a Sunda , the following Mondaq shall be considered the designazed holidaq. ea anq of these three (3) holidaqs falls on a Saturdaq, the precedin Fridaq shall be coasidered the desigaated holidaq. 13.2 The floating holidays set forth fn Section 13.1 above may be taken at any time during the contract qear, subject to the approval of the department head of any employee. • 13.3 Eligibility Requirements. In order to be eligible fo a holiday with paq, an El�LOYEE's name must appear on the payroll on anq six working days of the nine working daqs preceding the holiday; r an EMPLOYEE'S name must appear on the payroll the last working daq before the holidaq and on three other working days of the ni e working days preceding the holiday. In neither case shall the ho iday be counted as a working day for the purposes of this section. It is further understood that neither temporary, emergency aor oth r employees not heretofore eligible shall receive holiday pay. 13.4 The ten (10) holidays shall be considered non-work daq . 13.5 If, in the �udgment of the IIKPLOYER, personnel ar necessary for operating or emergency reasons, emploqees may be sche led or "called back" in accordance with Article 8.4 (Call-in Paq). • - 15 - . . _, -,� .- .>� .,. . .._ _ - - . �_ .�... v ' �-'.��« .,,�.. ",�.a_.�,�� ♦ . . . . � . , � �� -��'� . . , . , . 13.6 If an emploqee entitled to a holidaq is required t work on Martin Luther Ring Day (effective 1986), Presidents' ay, Christopher � Columbus Day or Veterans' Day, he shall be granted another day off with pay in lieu thereof as soon thereafter as the c nvenience of the department permits or he shall be paid on a straig t-time basis for such hours worked in addition to his regular holiday ay. If an employee entitled to a holiday is required to w rk on New Year's Daq, Memorial Daq, Independence Day, Thanksgiving ay or Christmas Day, he shall be recompensed for work done on t s day by being granted compensatory time on a time and one-half b sis or bq being paid on a time and one-half basis for such hours wo ked, in addition to his regular holidaq pay. Eligibility for holi y pay shall be determined in accordance with Section I, Subsectio I of the Saint Paul Salary Plan and Rates of Compensation. 13.7 In the case of Board of Education emploqees, if Ma tin Luther Ring . Day, Presidents' Day, Columbus Daq or Veterans' Da falls on a day when school is in session, the employees shall w rk that day at straight time and another day shall be designated as the holidaq.
