3 Fund, 09081-0511, to Gene Jones and his attorney, Brad Ratgen, the sum of $1Q000.00 in full
4 settlement of his personal injury claim for damages sustained on May 11, 1997 as a result of an
5 accident with a City-owned vehicle at or near Dale Street and Carroll Avenue.

On May 11, 1997 a City of Saint Paul Police car, driven by Dale Kangas, rear-ended a Yellow Cab, driven by Gene Jones. Mr.
Jones sustained a cervicai sprain/strain as a result of the impact. He incurred medical expenses in excess of S 12,000.00 and was
unable to drive taxi for �ve weeks. 1 have reached a settlement with his attorney in the amount of S 10,000.00.
