Dear Mr. Zahn:
As we discussed, please consider this letter an indication of my
sincere interest to serve on the St. Pall Heritage Preservation
Commiss ion.
I have been a St. Paul resident for fourteen years, and have one
child in the St. Paul Public Schools. My concern for physical preser-
vation and enhancement is not one of casual interest. My educational
training and past professional employment were in the fields of
planning and physical design. -My home :was built in 1890. I have
served on the Board of the Summit Hill Association/District 16,
and have continued an active role with S.H.A. for special tasks.
Currently, I am the prinipal of a sales firm which represents --
in the Opper Midwest -- manufactarers of office furnishings.
Please let me know if additional information is requird.; I look
forward to the possibility of serving on St. Paul's Heritage
Preservation Commission. Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
Stphen R. Markowitz
