WHEREAS, The State Job Training Office of the Minnesota Department of
Jobs and Training has approved a grant of $70,585 to the City of Saint Paul
for the City's participation in the JTPA Title II-A, 3% Older Workers Program,
a multi-year grant; and
WHEREAS, This Program will provide Employment and Training services to at
least 60 economically disadvantaged City residents age 55 and older, with an
expected outcome of placing at least 32 in unsubsidized employment; now,
therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That upon the recommendation of the Ma.yor, the Council of the
City of Saint Paul does hereby approve the City's participation in the JTPA 3%
Older Workers Program; and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, That the 1986 Special Funds Budget be amended as
identified below:
Fund 46345 - Governmental Employment and Training Programs
