Voting In the Matter of improving MISSISSIPPI RIVER BOULEVARD fran Randolph Avenue to
Ward 300 feet North of Goodrich Avenue by removiag existing pavement,
concrete curb and catch basins and replacing them with concrete
3 � 4 curb and gutter, a bituminous pavement, new drainage facilities,
ornamental lighting, boulevard landscaping and all incidental
construction as needed; all work to be in conformity with the
Mississippi River Boulevard Plans for Parkway Restoretion
adopted by the City Council August 2, 1983.
The Council of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and
having considered said report,hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof
is$ 1,904,600 , financed by 1986 Capital Improvement Bonds $1,204,600;
Metropolitan Parks Funds $500,000 and State
and Federal Grants and Loans $200,000.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 18th day of March, 1986 ,at
10:00 o'clock a.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint Paul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter,stating the
time and place of hearing,the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
