The Council of the City of Saint Paul has conducted a public hearing upon the above improvement, due notice
thereof having been given as prescribed by the City Charter; and
WHEREAS, The Council has heard all persons, objections and recommendations pertaining to said proposed improve-
ment and has fully considered the same; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby order that the above-described improvement
be made, and the proper City officers are hereby directed and authorized to proceed with the improvement; and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That upon the completion of said improvement, the proper City officers shall calculate
all expenses incurred therein and shall report the same to the City Council in accordance with Chapter 14 of the City Charter.

To the Members of the City Council:
This letter is written on behalf of Dr. Donald Sime
at 687 South Cleveland Avenue, legally described as Lots
29 and 30 , Block 1, St . Catherine Park Second Addition .
Dr. Sime has been advised that his property will be subject
to an assessment under the proposed improvements for Ford
Parkway and Cleveland Avenue in an amount of $138.00 per
linear foot for lighting. Dr. Sime has been advised that
he will be assessed for 125 linear feet or $17 ,250.00 .
Dr. Sime does not feel that his property is that benefit-
ed in an amount equal to this assessment and therefore
opposes this assessment . It is requested this letter
shall be entered on the Council Minutes to show an objec-
tion by Dr. Donald Sime to the proposed assessment which
is identified as File No. 18389 and set on for Hearing
on Tuesday the 5th day of March 1985 at 10:00 a.m.

This letter is written on behalf of Mitchell Johnson
of Johnson Brothers located at 2341 University Avenue , in
reference to the above entitled property - legally describ-
ed as Lots 11 thru 14 , Block 5 , Lanes Highland Park and
the addresses are 1921 and 1929 Ford Parkway . Mitchell
Johnson has been advised that his property will be subject
to an assessment under the proposed improvements for Ford
Parkway and Cleveland Avenue in an amount of $22 ,900 .00.
Mitchell Johnson does not feel that his property is that
benefited in an amount equal to this assessment and there-
fore opposes this assessment . It is requested this letter
