There may be an unknown right of redemption in the Estate of Marie Alice Gill, c/o Terrance O 'Toole, attorney at law, 1009 :3ummit Ave. , St. Paul, N�T 55105 . A check of liens and judgments shows that on April 1, 1981 St. Paul Plumbing and Heating, 640 Grand, St. Paul, MN 55105 filed a mechanic' s lien on this property in the amount of $105 . 82 for work done on March 6, 1981. There is also an Old Age Assistance lien of record as of December 17, 1963 filed by the Ramsey County Welfare Board v. Alfred Gill for an unknown amount of inedical expenses. WHEREAS, the Division of Housing and Building Code Enforcement, on behalf of the City Council did notify by mail the above noted parties of interest at their last known address. WHEREAS, a public hearing was held by and before the Council of the City of Saint Paul in the Council Chamber of the Court House of said city at 10: 00 a.m. on Thursday, February 28, 1985, to consider the advisability and necessity of ordering the correction or wreck- ing and removal of said structure on the above described property in- asmuch as said structure is reporte d to constitute a hazard to public health, safety and welfare . The subject property has been boarded up by the City since July 25, 1983; 2 . Because of age, deterioration, lack of maintenance and the following list of deficiencies, this building is a hazard and a blighting influence on the neighborhood; EXTERIOR:, 1. The conditions outlined above constitute a public hazard; 4. The owner has made no attempt to satisfactorily re�- pair the damage; 5 . The continued va.cant and boarded-�up condition con- tributes a blighting influence on the neighborhoodF now, therefore, be it, RESOLVED, That in accordance with Minnesota Statutes Sections 463 .15 through 463 .25 and based upon the foregoing findings of the City Council, the Council of the City of Saint Paul does hereby make the following Order: ORDER: 1. The owners of the above described building shall make the same safe and not detrimental to the public peace, health, safety and welfare by having the said building razed and the materials therefrom removed from the premises within thirty (30) days from the date of the service of this Order; 2 . Unless such corrective action is taken to comply with this Order or an answer served upon the City of Saint Paul and filed in the office of the Clerk of District Court of Ramsey County, Minnesota within twenty (20) days from the date of the service of this Order, a Motion for summary enforcement of this Order to raze and remove the said building will be made to the Ramsey County District Court; 3 . In the event that the building is to be razed by the City of Saint Paul pursuant to judgment of the District Court, all personal property or fixtures of any kind which may unreasonably interfere with the razing and removal of this building shall be removed within ten (10) days from the entry of judgment� and if not so removed, the City of Saint Paul shall remove and dispose of such personal property and fixtures as provided by law; 4 .
