I would much prefer that the work be done at the Public Safety Garage,
however, we have been trying to get it in for a year with negative re-

The National Street Rod Convention - and need to get it completed in a
timely manner.

DEPARTMENT OF POLIC
CITY OF SAINT PAUL
INTER-OFFICE COMMUNICATION
T0: Chief W. W. McCutcheon
FROM: D/C Nord
SUBJECT: Council Resolution/Hold Harmless
DATE: January 29, 1985
For sometime we have been attempting to locate a suitable facility to
accomplish the renovation on the airstream trailer.
We have just received permission from the Air Force to use a building
on their base. I have been informed we will have to provide them with
a standard hold harmless agreement. I understand this is accomplished
through a City Council resolution via a request through you.
The date is as follows. The work will be done by Officer D. Timm. It
will be done in building 686 at the U.S. Air Force base. The agree-
ment will be sent to:
Major Lewis Wolf
133 Tactical Airlift Wing
Minneapolis-St. Paul IAP
St. Paul, MN 55111-4098
The Air Force requests the agreement basically state we would not hold
the Department of Military Affairs responsible if our officer was in-
jured while working on the trailer in building 686.
We are not being charged anything for the building, or for the use of
any tools. We have all the material on hand. I would ask that we act
quickly on this to accomplish a long over due project.
