RESOLVED, that the Civil Service Rules be amended in Section 3.K by striking
from Grade 18 the following titles:
Librarian IV (Children & Youth)
Librarian IV (Circulation)
Librarian IV (Extension)
Librarian IV (Fine Arts & Audio Visual)
Librarian IV (Reference)
Librarian IV (Science & Industry)
Librarian IV (Technical Services)
and by substituting in lieu thereof the title of Librarian IV.

This resolution changes the title of Librarian IV to a single title rather than a number
of specialized titles and to allow experience in any area of library service to qualify
for Librarian IV. The class specification was changed in September but the change was
not made in the rules at that time.
