WHEREAS, on January 21, 1985, a plane crash near -
Reno, Nevada, seriously injured three and took the lives
of 68 persons, mostly Minnesotans ; and
WHEREAS, this tragic occurrence has caused inestimable
pain and loss to the friends and relatives of the victims,
therefore be it
RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul,
mindful of the burden of grief these deaths have occasioned
to the surviving relatives and friends of the crash victims ,
do hereby express to them profound sympathy in their
bereavement, and be it
FURTHER RESOLVED, That February 3, 1985, be designated
and set aside in memory of the victims of this tragedy and as
a day of prayer and recognition of the incalculable loss
caused to our fellow citizens , their surviving relatives
and friends. �
