Ordinance No. 17171, C.F. 84-1143, effective January 25, 1985, which
ordinance amended section 17.07 of the Charter dealing with liquor patrol
limits; ar�d
V�REAS, Section 17.07 of the Charter, as amended, restricts issuance of
on-sale licenses within each liquor patrol limit based on the number of such
licenses which existed in each respective liquor patrol limit on the
effective date of the amendment (January 25, 1985) ; an�3
WI�S, kbr the purpose of establishing the oorrect number of on-sale
intoxicating liquor licenses existing in each liquor patrol limit, the
Council does hereby find an�i determine the number of existing licenses for
each liquor patrol limit, exclusive of those licenses existing in any
"oo�rmercial development district"; naw, therefore, be it

that, effective January 25, 1985, the following number of on-sale
intoxicating liquor licenses exist in each designated liquor patrol limit
(Council District) :

V�HEREAS, The arter of the City of Saint Paul was �ecently
amended by Ordinance o. 17171, C.F. 84-1143, effective January 25,
1985, which ordinance mended section 17. 07 of the Charter dealing
with liquor patrol limi s; and
WHEREAS, Section 17. of the Charter, as amended, restricts
issuance of on-sale license within each liquor patrol limit based
on the number of such licens which existed in each respective
liquor patrol limit on the ef ctive date of the amendment (Janu-
ary 25, 1985) ; and
WHEREAS, For the purpose of tablishing the correct number
of on-sale intoxicating liquor lice ses existing in each liquor
patrol limit, the Council does hereb find and determine the number
of existing licenses for each liquor trol limit, exclusive of
those licenses existing in any "commer 'al development district" ;
now, therefore, be it
�� � RESOLVED, That the Council of the City of Saint Paul, for the
purpose of future transfers of on-sale intox ating liquor licenses
within the City of Saint Paul and complying wi h the proeisions of
Section 17. 07 of the City Charter, as amended b Ordinance No.
17171, does hereby find and determine that, effe tive January 25,
1985 , the following number of on-sale intoxicatin liquor licenses '
exist in each designated liquor patrol limit (Counc ' 1 District) ;
