iTHE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SAINT AUL DOES ORDAIN:
� Section 1 .
That Section 34 of �he Civi Service Rules of the City of Saint
Paul be and the same hereby is a ended by adding a new subsection
� 345 to read as follows :
� "345 . The position of Fina cial Analyst is placed
iin the unclassified servic of the City of 5aint Paul . "

days from and after its passage, approval and publication.

Anal st and Policy Analyst in the Unclassif ed Service of the City and also sets the
mini um qualifications and compensation lev 1 for the classifications.

COSTI' BENEFIT BUDGETARY AND PERSONNEL IMPA TS ANTICIPATED:
Prof�essional support positions in the City ouncil Investigation and Research Center
are urrently allocated to the Provisional esearch Analyst I classification or are
empl yed under consulting contracts. Resea ch Analysts are allocated to Grade 7 of
the Professional Employees Non-Supervisory' Salary Schedule. The proposed Policy
Anal st and Financial Analyst classificatio s are allocated to Grade 10 of the
"Pro essional Employees Non-Supervisory" Sa ary Schedule.
