Reasons for your interest in this particular committee:
I am a third generaYion St. Paul residem. After living in a different state for 4 years, my husband and I
chose St. Paul as the city to live in and raise our children. I am well aware of the ups and downs of the
vitality of this city over the years. I see its cutrent economic rise as an opportunity to make St. Paul a
company or family's first choice to locate in now and in the future. I would like to be a part of the process
of makin sure St. Paul remains the geat city that is, and become the economic gower it can be for this
state.
The services provided by the Port Authority aze key to the retention and fumre expansion of St. PauPs
business community. In light of the constant change of location of businesses today, asressive outreach
by the Port Authority will help ensure a prosperous future as we11. I feel my experience in state and federal
govemment as well as working in the private sector provide the tools necessary to be a productive member
of the PoR Authority Board.
