An Administrative Resolution establishing the rate
of pay for the classification of Storeroom Manager
in the Salary Plan and Rates of Compensation.
RESOLVED, that the title of Storeroom Manager shall be paid at the
rate set forth in Grade 8, Section I D 4, Professional Supervisory Standard
Ra.nges, of the Salary Plan and Rates of Compensation; and be it
FINALLY RESOLVED, that this resolution shall take effect and be in
force on the first pay period after passage, approval, and publication of
this resolution.

WHAT WILL BE ACHIEVED BY TAKING ACTION ON THE ATTACHED MATERIALS?
This resolution creates a new classification entitled Storeroom Manager.
Recent expansion and computerization of the City/County Supply Storeroom
has necessitated the establishment of this classification. This is a
single position classification. The position is responsible for planning,
organizing, and directing the activities of the City/County Supply
Storeroom, including maintaining the automated storeroom information
system. The current incumbent is on personal service contract to the City.
COST/BENEFIT, BUDGETARY AND PERSONNEL IMPACTS ANTICIPATED:
The new Storeroom Manager classification has been assigned to Professional
Supervisory Grade 8. Assuming the incumbent passes the test and is
appointed, the starting salary would be $892.12 biweekly. The additional
cost to the City for the remainder of the year would be $813.55 based upon
five pay periods left in the year at the time of appointment. The
incumbent's contract pays $729.41 biweekly.
The yearly cost to the City would be $23,195.12 plus benefits. The
incumbent is currently being paid $18,964.66 yearly. The additional yearly
cost would be $4230.46 plus benefits.
