She said that you are signing off on the resolution and wants you to know: She is reporting Barbara Penn to the Lawyers Ethical Board, is accusing her of misappropriation of $25,000 of Sharon's funds. This is Case No. CX 83716, property at 448 DesNoyer, and Barbara Penn's representation of her client in divorce File No. 23290. Sharon also referred to Minnesota Lawyers License No. 85042 and Elections Case No. CX871941. Elizabeth Hughes resigned because she has moved to Minneapolis. The Mayor has selected Barbara Penn to serve a three-year term. Steven Clark has also tendered his resignation. His term expired October 9, 1987. The Mayor has selected James Garrett, who works for 3M and resides at 1371 Ames Avenue, to fill the unexpired three-year term of Steven Clark. This term will expire October 9, 1989. Additionally, Dr. Albert V. de Leon, Dr. James Shelton and Bruce Beneke have also been reappointed to serve three-year terms which expire on October 9, 1990. Mayor Latimer requests your consideration and approval of the attached resolution appointing/reappointing the above-named persons. Also attached are copies of applications for the new appointees: Barbara Penn and James Garrett.
