WHEREAS, in 1983 the City of Saint Paul, by Council File No. 281249,
did accept a deed from the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of
Saint Paul for property legally described as Lots one (1) through ten (10),
inclusive, and lots twenty-one (21) through thirty (30), inclusive, Block ten,
(10) Holcombe's Addition to Saint Paul, according to the plat thereof on file
and of record in the office of the County Recorder in and for said County and
State (I.D. # 02-28-23-14-0038) for park purposes; and
WHEREAS, this property should have been listed as tax exempt on the
tax rolls and was not; and
WE�REAS, the City of Saint Paul did assess Property Identification
Number 02-28-23-14-0038 for Street Maintenance for the assessment year 1983 as
follows:

1983 payable 1984 $174.80
$174.80
and
WHEREAS, this Street Maintenance Assessment appeared on the tax
statement as taxes due and should hane been paid through the General
Government Account Activity �09051 (Exempt Property Assessments) but were not
because they were not on the Tax Exempt List.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Street Maintenance
Assessment listed above is hereby abated and removed from the ta$ rolls and
that the proper city departments are authorized to pay this assessment from
Account Activity #09051 through inter-office transfer; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Valuation and Assessment Division
is hereby directed to request Ramsey County to include this property on the
Ramsey County Annual Report of Exempt Assessments for Saint Paul.
