WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul will be receiving private contributions from corporate
sponsors to finance the cost of a reception and dinner at the World Trade Center for
the Institute For East/West Securities Studies (IEWSS) Conference; and
WHEREAS, subject to the receipt of �hese private contributions, there will exist
revenues in excess of those estimated in the 1987 budget, and the Mayor, pursuant to
Section 10.07.1 of the City Chart�r, does certify that these revenues are available
for appropriation; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor recommends that the following changes be made to the 1987
budget;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City does accept private contributions
from corpora�e sponsors to finance the cost of a reception and dinner at the World
Trac:e Center for the IEWSS Conference; and
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED, the the City Council adopts the following changes to
the 1987 budget:

includes atering services, floral displays, lighting and sound equipment, consultant
fees, and site preparation.
