RESOLVED, that the proper City officials are hereby authorized and
directed to execute an Agreement granting $1,870.00 to the SUMMIT-HILL
ASSOCIATION/DISTRICT 16 PLANNING COUNCIL for the purpose of staging the Linwood
Park Festival ; to be held October 11, 1987 and conducted in accordance with
Council approved guidelines dated August 12, 1987; a copy of said Agreement to
be kept on file and of record in the Department of Finance and Management
Services.

AGREEMENT
', THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into this day of , 1987
by a�d between the CITY OF SAINT PAUL, a municipal corporation of the State of
Minn�sota (hereinafter referred to as "City"), and SUMMIT-HILL ASSOCIATIONf
DISTRICT 16 PLANNING COUNCIL , (hereinafter referred to as "Council"�.
WHEREAS, on January 6, 1987 the St. Paul City Council established a
Community Festival Loan Fund and Grant Program, administered by
the Division of Parks and Recreation, for the purpose of
assisting neighborhood festivals with expenses, startup costs and
insurance coverage; and
',WHEREAS, the St. Paul City Council has appraved rules and regulations to
', ensure the fair and equitable distribution of the funds; and
,WHEREAS, the Council has applied for a grant in accordance with these
' rules and regulations. '
NOW THEREFORE, the arties a ree as follows:

1. That the City shall grant to the Council the sum of one thousand
eight hundred and seventy dollars ($1,870.00) for the purpose of
helping to furrd the Linwood Park Festival to be celebrated on October
11, 1987 as more particularly outlined in the Cauncil 's applicatian
attached hereto as Exhibit A and made a part af this Agreement.
;2. That the Council will prepare and submit to the City a report
!�, outlining all expenses and revenues derived from the Festival and
I specifically detailing how the grant money was spent within 90 days
'� after the completion of the festival noted above. Council further
will permit the Division of Parks and Recreation staff full access ta

its books and records concerning the festival .
3. That the Council shall submit to the City a copy of the Council 's
I liability insurance policy naming the City as an additional insured,
said policy shall be forwarded to City by October 8, 1987.
