Voting In the Matter of constructing the ARLINGTON/ARKWRIGHT AREA STORM SEWER PROJECT.
Ward (bounded by E. Larpenteur on the north from the former railroad
right—of—way to the east line of Larpenteur Green; on the east
5 by a line 600 feet west more—or—less of Edgerton Street from
E. Larpenteur Avenue to E. Hoyt Avenue; then 450 feet wes.t more-or—less
- of Edgerton Street from Wheelock Parkway to the north line of
Dittman's Subdivision. Also DeSoto Street from Ivy to Hyacinth;
on the south by the north line of Ditman's Subdivision to Ivy
Avenue and Ivy Avenue to DeSoto Street. Also Hyacinth from DeSoto
Street to 300 feet more—or—less west of Arkwright; on the west from
Hyacinth Avenue 300 feet more—or—less east of Arkwright to Cottage
Avenue, from Cottage Avenue 120 feet to 140 feet more—or—less east
of Westminster north to Arlington Avenue; and from Arlington Avenue
280 feet more—or—less east of Westminster Street to the former
railroad right—of—way at Montana Avenue; then following the east line
of the former railroad right—of—way to Larpenteur Avenue)
The Councff of the City of Saint Paul having received the report of the Mayor upon the above improvement, and
having considered said report,hereby resolves:
1. That the said report and the same is hereby approved with no alternatives, and that the estimated cost thereof
�� 1,108,000 , financed by assessments $100,000; Sewer Service Surcharge $278,000
and State and Federal Grants and Loans $730,000.
2. That a public hearing be had on said improvement on the 17th day of November, 1 987 ,at
nine�]G}�3[Ko'clock a.m., in the Council Chambers of the City Hall and Court House Building in the City of Saint P�ul.
3. That notice of said public hearing be given to the persons and in the manner provided by the Charter,stating the
time and place of hearing,the nature of the improvement and the total cost thereof as estimated.
