RESOLVFD, That upon execution and delivery of a release in full
to the City, in a form to be approved by the City Attorney, the
proper City officers are hereby authorized and directed to pay
out of the Tort Liability Fund 09070-511-000 , to :
l . Edward Retka and State Farm Insurance Company the sum of
$1 ,114 .48 in full settlement of their claim of damages
sustained on or about June 20 , 1986 , as more particularly
set out in the Notice of Claim filed in the City Clerk' s
office on October 27 , 1986 .

CLAIM AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY EDWARD 1�ETKA AND STATE FARM
INSURANCE COMPANY
On June 20 , 1986 , a Department of Public Works bridge maintenance
crew was repairing the pedestrian bridge from the Robert Street
Bridge to the Second Street level . Because it was a windy day,
the concrete srpayed on cars which were parked under the bridge .
Expenses are for cleaning the cement off of Mr . Retka ' s car .
This office approves the settlement of their claim in the amount
of $1 , 114 . 48 .
