CLAIMS AGAINST CITY OF SAINT PAUL
BY JULIA BURRIS PHILLIPS AND
DANIEL KELSEY
On July 17 , 1987 , a 1986 Ford truck, license number 142-142 ,
owned by the City of Saint Paul and driven by Anthony Barton
rearended a 1981 Dodge Colt , owned and driven by claimant Julia
Burris , while it was stopped at the intersection of Dale and
University in Saint Pual . This office approves the settlement of
Mrs . Phillips ' claim in the amount of $1 , 232 . 21 .
On July 28 , 1987 , claimant Daniel Kelsey was involved in an
automobile accident with a City of Saint Paul , Department of
Community Services ' vehicle at Pennsylvania and Rice . The driver
of the City vehicle was Thomas F. Tschida. Mr. Tschida ran a red
light causing the collision. This office approves the settlement
of Mr . Kelsey' s claim in the amount of $1 , 949 . 16 .
