WHEREAS , that part of Lots 1 through 4, Block 86 lying
northerly of highway 35E in Dayton and Irvine's Addition to Saint
Paul and identified as PIN 01-28-23-14-0080 is tax forfeited land
held in trust by the State of Minnesota; and,
WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works of the City of Saint
Paul has requested acquisition of said property for public right-
of-way and sewer purposes; and
WHSREAS, the Department of Public Works intends to apply for
conveyance of said tax-forfeited lands under Minnesota Statute
Section 282 .01.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the proper City officials
are hereby authorized to acquire said tax-forfeited lands and are
also directed to accept a deed from the State of Minnesota
allowing the City to use this land for a public purpose.
