WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul Division of Pazks and Recrearion has proposed making changes in the
walkways at Newell Pazk, and
3 WHEREAS, certain neighbors haue raised objection to the proposed changes, and
4 WHEREAS, the City Council believes that it is in the public interest to seek to resolve this disagreement though
5 a facilitated mediation; now, therefore, be it
6 RESOLVED, that the City Council authorizes the payment of up to $150.00 from City Council funds to the
7 Hamline University Law and Graduate School Mediation Center far D'aspute Resolution to facilitate a discussion
8 of the proposed changes between representatives from the Division of Parks and Recreafion, the Hamline
9 Midway Coalition and individuals objecting to the proposed changes.
