Carchedi License inspector City of St.Paul Dear Mr. Carchedi, This letter is to inform you and the City of St. Paul that our co-tennent and licensee, The Saji Ya Restaurant, is out of bus- iness. Their interest in our liquor license has been removed by the United States Bankrup�"y Courts. (see enclosure) , and we have been operating the restaurant since March 16th. We have retained the same name and have been able to save the jobs of the 30 former employees. Also enclosed is a letter from our landlord verifying our mutual agreement to occupy the Saji ya space. Our goal is to preserve St. Paul ' s only 4-star Japanese restau- rant and we have been encouraged by the response thus far. We have learned that the Saji Ya is a gathering place for Japanese businessmen when traveling to the Twin Cities. It is also re- guarded as one the best restaurants in the area and it has a very strong St. Paul following, especially from the neighbor- hood. O'�rien , Judge of United States Bankruptcy Court, on February 20 , 1987. Fred A. Rueppers , Jr. appeared on behalf of the moving party, St. Alban ' s Crossing II . Richard C. Salmen appeared on behalf of the Debtor , Saji-Ya , Inc . . This Court having considered the moving papers of St. Alban' s Crossing II , Debtor' s response to the Motion, the Stipulation reached by arid between the parties which was read into the record, the Court being fully familiar in the premises , and based upon all of the files , records , and proceedings herein: IT IS HEREBY ORDERED, that the Debtor shall pay $2,000 .00 , in good funds , to St. Alban's Crossing II on or before 4 :00 p.m.� on February 23 , 1987; that Debtor shall within ten ( 10) days execute an assignment to St. Alban's Crossing II , or its nominee , of the interest which Debtor may have in a liquor license for the operation of a liquor establishment at the leased premises ; and that Debtor shall vacate the leased premises peaceably and remove any possessions which Debtor is entitled to remove from the leased premises no later than March 15 , 1987.
