1 WI�REAS, Mike Eggum was born and raised on Saint Paul's East Side; attending Saint Casimir's Crade School,
2 John A. Johnson High School, and the University of Miunesota; and,
3 VJHEREAS, Mike began his cazeer with the City of Saint Paul in the Public Works Department in 1969, taking
4 only a short sabbatical to earn his Psychology degree; and,
5 WI�REAS, in his lengthy tenure with the City of Saint Paul Mike has utilized his skills as a Civil Engineer, Youth
6 Corp leader, Lighting Engineer, and also worked on bridges, streets, capital prograuuning and real estate; and,
7 WHEREAS, Mike has decided to resign his position and move to Red Lodge, Montana with his wife Joan and their
8 cats Sadie and Nelly; now,
9 THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that in gratefulness for Mike's many years of dedicafion and service, the Saint
10 Paul City Council formally pronounces Mike Eggum to be a fauared son of Saint Paul, and wishes him health,
11 happiness and sucoess in his chosen path; and,
12 NOW BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that said City Council does also hereby declare that forevermore in the
13 Capital of the great state of Minnesota, May 28, 1999 shall be known as:
