Please take notice that a hearing concerning the above-named establishment has been scheduled
for 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, May 26,1999 in the City Council Chambers, Third Floor, Saint Paul
City Hail and Ramsey County Courthouse.
Enclosed are copies of the proposed resolution and other documents which will be presented to
the City Council for their consideration. This is an uncontested hearing, in that the facts
concerning the unpaid license and late fees have not been disputed. You will have an
opportunity at the Council hearing to present oral and/or written remazks as to the penalty, if any,

Dear Sir/Madam:
The Director of the Office of License, Inspections and Environmental Protection will recommend
that adverse action be taken against the licenses held by you at the above-named premises. This
recommendation is based on the following infornation:
1999 license fees in the amount of $1,562.50, which were due on January 31,
1999, have not been paid. These fees cover your Restaurant, Mait On-Sale,
and the ls` half of your Wine licenses. Additionally, late fees for previous
delinquencies in obtaining your licenses on time now total $1,386.00. The
total amount now due including license fees and late fees is $2,948.50.
jf you do not dispute the above facts, please send me a letter admitting that they are true. The
matter will then be scheduled before the City Council for a hearin� to determine what penalty, if
�y, is appropriate. You will have a chance to appeaz and make a statement before the Council
°n your behaif. You may also pay the sum to the O�ce of License, Inspections and
Erivironmental Protection immediately to take caze of this matter.
If you wish to dispute the facts, you are entitled to an evidentiary hearing before an
aarninistrative law judge. If you wish to have such a hearing, please send a letter stating that you
�'e contesting the facts. You will then be sent a notice of hearing with the date, time and place
for the heazing, the name of the administrative law judge, and an explanation of the procedures.

The Director of the Office of License, Inspections and Environmental Protection will recommend
that adverse action be taken against the licenses held by you at the above-named premises. This
recommendation is based on the following infornation:
1999 license fees in the amount of $1,562.50, which were due on January 31,
1999, have not been paid. These fees cover your Restaurant, Mait On-Sale,
and the ls` half of your Wine licenses. Additionally, late fees for previous
delinquencies in obtaining your licenses on time now total $1,386.00. The
total amount now due including license fees and late fees is $2,948.50.
jf you do not dispute the above facts, please send me a letter admitting that they are true. The
matter will then be scheduled before the City Council for a hearin� to determine what penalty, if
�y, is appropriate. You will have a chance to appeaz and make a statement before the Council
°n your behaif. You may also pay the sum to the O�ce of License, Inspections and
Erivironmental Protection immediately to take caze of this matter.
