WHEREAS , in 1988 by Council Resolution 88-803 the City
of Saint Paul assessed PIN 34-29-22-34-0045 located at 1428
Pacific Street for the removal of diseased trees , said property
legally described as :
Auditor ' s Subdivision No. 62 Saint Paul , Minnesota
Sub�ect to Highways and without access to said
Highways ; the west 175 feet of Lot 1 , Block 20
WHEREAS , at property owners request , on September 30,
1988 , the Forestry Section of Community Services determined the
trees that had been removed and upon which the assessment is
based , were actually on the adjacent property and the assessment
should be reduced by one—half.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED , that the diseased tree
assessment in the amount of $97. 00 be reduced to $48. 50 on the
tax rolls for PIN 34-29-22-34-0045 .

``� WFIEREAS, the Division of Public Health of the Department of Cocrnaanity
aServices of the City of Saint Paul has determined that the structures

In regards to the 1987 assessment against the property at, 1428 Pacific
St. owned by James Progreba I have made the determination that two of
the trees which were marked were not actually on his property. After
subsequent measurement the trees were determined to be on the properry
at 325/327 Birmingham. Because this property owner was never notified,
the City will have to absorb the associated costs for the removal of these
two trees. All other assessments already paid by Mr. Progreba will have
to stand. Woodchuck Tree Service still claims they removed all trees in
question, even though the gentleman at 1428 claims he cut them down and
hauled them away. I have no information to support either person. The
bill should be cut in 1/2 from $87.50 to $43.75 because a 3" and 4" were
involved.
