WHEREAS, The Ramsey County Job Training Office has approved a grant of
$76,062 to the Ci y of Saint Paul for the City's participation in the third
grant year of the Refugee Targeted Assistance Program; and
WHEREAS, Th's program will provide training fdr up to 85 unemployed
economically dis dvantaged Refugees in Saint Paul aind Ramsey County; now
therefore, be it �
RESOLVED, T at upon the recommendation of theiMayor, the Council of
the City of Sain Paul does hereby approve the Cit�'s participation in

with Ramsey County Job T ining Progr m to prti-vide trainin and job placement to 85 refugees
on county public assista e, for the riad' August 1, 1986 - March 31, 1987. An .extension
to 9/30/87 is expected n t month. ( i's.., represents the t ird year that the City has entered
into an agreement with R sey County o provide Refugee se vices. In the 1985-86 progr"am,
the City enrolled 117 Re gees and pl ced 95. In 1984-85, the City enrolled 136 Refugees

OST BENEFIT BUDGETARY D P�RSONNEL IMPACTS ANTICIPATED:
The City will receive $7 ,062 for the operation of the P�o ram through an Agreement signed
