The neighborhoods around Midway Stadium are filled with families with young children and/or people who work odd schedules, who may be trying to sleep during that time. During the summer, most o£ us in the older homes and apartments in our neighborhoods wil] be relying on open windows and outdoor living to tolerate the heat . No matter what the type of music, making it louder won't make it better; it will only spread it farther and distort it more. The Saints are requesting sound level variances for a • total of 21 hours in a singie 72-hour period from July 16 though July 7 8, 1999. The neighborhoods around Midway Stadium are filled with families with young children and/or people who work odd schedules, who may be trying to sleep during that time. During the summer, most o£ us in the older homes and apartments in our neighborhoods wil] be relying on open windows and outdoor living to tolerate the heat .
